1.
Life is just passing by And in each moment we try Another day, another dawn One day soon we'll be done Life if pieces and parts Mending fences and walls Time is now, the music on One day soon we'll be gone
2.
This one does not have any lyrics, because it's an instrumental.
3.
Life is just passing by And in each moment we die Time is lost and meaning gone One day soon we'll be done Life is pieces and parts Broken arrows and hearts Time is up, the music off Rest assured, it's enough

Five 02:34
I've been spending the last five days driving round in my car I've seen mountains and forests and oceans amazingly vast Despite all this time I still don't know why I'm here Doing three hundred miles each day on these wheels But still I keep driving on Looking for meaning, answers and truth To end all these lies I've been told Tell me why ain't I getting it right Tell me why I believe in these lies Tell me why there is nothing but clouds up there Been five weeks since last time I saw that god awful town Five weeks since I stuck my head in the ground If there's something I've learnt over there weeks It doesen't matter how it is when we're gone But still I keep driving on Looking for meaning, answers and truth To end all these lies I've been told Tell me why ain't I getting it right Tell me why I believe in these lies Tell me why there is nothing but clouds up there
5.
This one is also an instrumental.

about

The final part of the EP-series (for now?...). Prominently named "Five"; this EP features more audience friendly songs with something reminiscent of a song structure.

"Part I: A Beginning" is a throw back to the first EP, referencing how it all began and talking about how beginnings are. It is split into three parts, reminiscent of "The Painting" from "Images Of A Distant Place", but with a twist in the middle.

"Part II: A Journey" is an instrumental piece based on the same chords used in "Part I. A Beginning" and "Part III: An End". It is just me noodling on my guitar for two minutes, no metronome or structure whatsoever.

"Part III: An End" is the third part of the first song, this time with more instrumentation and reverb. It's five guitar and bouzouki tracks all playing individual notes, and panned hard left and right. The lyrics revolve around how thing end, and closure.

The only title track in the EP-series so far - "Five" - is an acoustic tune I started working on about two years ago. I found the lyrics in my old notebook and sat down to remeber the song. It got stuck in my head and I ended up recording it for the EP, as it shared the same name. It is a song about finding yourself, and was written when I was going through a hard time in my life.

"Over the Mountain, Under the Hill" is an irish folky tune I wrote a few years ago. I love revisiting the past and stealing my own ideas. This one is recorded with an old iPhone and raped in my DAW to make it sound good.
