about
First track in a long time!
I called quits on this project a few years ago. What had started as a concept to challenge myself creatively with making five EPs in five months fell to a sharp halt as soon as it was finished. I did not have any inspiration to keep it going as I had burnt myself out on making a lot of music in a short time and not having time to properly work on every song.
Honestly though, I am happy I did it. Although I am not happy with every single song, a few of them are actually really great and are works that I am proud of. Because of said situation I have been hesitant on introducing this to new people I have met and Liquid Eye has remained a secret. That and the fact that while I was creating this I started to descend even deeper into a mess of alcohol and drugs, which only kept on getting worse.
I sobered up about one and a half year ago. For the first time in my life I am actually believing in and feeling proud of myself. Then I noticed that there are people listening to this music out there, even four years after it came out.
So, here's a "brand new" song you awesome people out there. I recorded this almost a year after the first one, and it's been collecting dust ever since. I found some old Liquid Eye-plans on an old hard drive, and maybe I'll get back to doing something every now and then.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for listening.
